Description
The Papua New Guinea 20 Kina banknote is part of the 1988 issues. It is red-brown in color and measures 150 x 75 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms with the bird of paradise perched on the Kundu drum and the ceremonial spear. The reverse side features a boar head, a toea (cowrie shell) necklace from Madang, a Toa armband from Central Province, a shell ornament from Western Province, and tapa cloth patterns. This banknote uses a solid security thread and contains a watermark with a bank logo design.
