Description
Hey Guys, This listing is for an American Style Dartboard. It's unused, but it's BLEMISHED. During the process for pressing the wires into the wood, one of them refused to go in. You can see from the pictures. I'd put that side against the wall to start with, then 20,000 darts later, you'd have to flip the board. I'd rotate that bum wire to be between the 11 and the 14 at that point. One of the sides is perfect, and I'd put that one out first. Of the group of blemished boards I'm putting up today, this is the pick of the litter. That's really all there is to say about that. Would I Use This Board for a League/House Tournament?- Yes. Hang the blemished side against the wall.Would I Use this for the Big Dog or States (major travel tournament)?- Yes. Hang the blemished side against the wall. Would I send this as a Gift? - No. It is in the shrink wrap and all, but there IS a defect. I'd buy a defect free board if I were sending it as a present. Would I buy this for a hunting cabin/man cave?- Absolutely. Don't even think about it any more, just push "Buy".I'm asking the buyer to pay for shipping, which is tending to be MidAtlantic, and rises to in Fla and even more going to the west coast. Feel free to send me any questions. Thanks for looking, and happy shooting!- bob the dart guyPS - I'm figuring that if you're looking at blemished boards, you already know about this style of board. But, for completeness, here's a description for those just joining the scene . . .This Board is for shooting the game of American Darts - played with wooden darts that have turkey feather flights (like those made by American ProDart or Widdy). It's hung 5' 3" from the floor to the center of the cork. The throw line is 107.5" from the center of the cork to the floor. The board is made of basswood, with the end grain facing the shooter. It is also double sided. Once the front side of the board is worn, you can flip the board to shoot on the second side. Both sides have the same target areas. The board is designed to be Rotated. Once areas show signs of wear, you can rotate the target area of the board, bringing fresh wood into the frequently shot areas, and moving the worn sections to less frequently targeted sections.
